How It All Began
In the beginning of the new millennium, the Lord had been sharing dreams and visions with Apostle Busisiwe Thebehali with regards to His plans for her. The interpretation of these dreams and visions was to start an Apostolic Prophetic Ministry.
The Lord tasked her with establishing His plan, which she was yet to fully understand — what it comprised of and what would be expected of her. This church was not to become mediocre, but to become a channel where the Lord would establish His Kingdom here on earth.
October 2001
After much wrestling with the Lord, Apostle Busisiwe Thebehali started Agape Christian Church. Since then, the Lord has been unfolding His plan which He revealed through dreams and visions.
Because the Lord's plan was not just to establish a church but a ministry, more ministries were founded — thus leading to the formation of Agape International Ministries South Africa (AIMSA).
AIMSA is an umbrella organisation for:

Vision
- To reveal the Love of God as we are commanded in John 13:34-35
- To carry out the Great Commission as commanded in Matthew 28:19-20
Mission
- To reflect Isaiah 61:1-3 — bringing Holistic Healing to individuals who are hurting, wounded, depressed, discouraged and disappointed. To assist the banished and rejected by directing them to understand and know their purpose in the Kingdom.

A Christo-Centric Organisation
Agape International Ministries South Africa (AIMSA) is a Christo-centric Organisation. We endeavour to fulfil our Vision, Mission and Purpose for the benefit of the Kingdom of God and the community at large.
The product of the church is a cured patient, a child that learns, a rehabilitated life, a self-respecting adult, a reformed prisoner and a transformed purpose, amongst others.
The bottom line is a changed human being.
AIMSA is also an Outreach Ministry — a compassionate ministry rooted and grounded in God's love for all persons. It is neither prejudiced nor racist. We uphold our Vision, Mission and Purpose to touch people in all walks of life.
A Leader of Vision
Apostle Busisiwe Thebehali is an ordained apostle of Agape International Ministries South Africa. She heads the church in Diepkloof, Soweto. She is a mother of 4 children, with a heart for the lost, poor and sick children of God.
She is a coach, mentor and a mother — a woman of great faith, with high morals and strict discipline. She is emotionally stable, quick and sharp to think, and loves people in a self-sacrificing manner.
As a leader, she has passion for excellence and order. She is professional, executive, a good judge of character, a motivator and an encourager. She delegates and involves leadership in decision making, puts systems in place to reach everybody, and respects Christ in everyone.
A Family of Ministries
Each ministry is a vital expression of God's love, reaching every generation and walk of life.
Children's Church
A variety of age groups with activities like Soccer, Relay competitions and Team Building. Children participate in Praise and Worship, story reading, and monthly themes that build character and faith.
Youth & Young Adults
Impacting the young generation with a hunger for relationship with God, identity, the apostolic and prophetic. The youth revolt against apathy and hypocrisy, standing as the Jesus generation.
Married Couples
Marriage is an institution established by God. We hold it close to His heart. Marriage Seminars throughout the year, plus pre and post marital counselling.
Counselling
Professional counselling for anyone regardless of religious walk, race or background. Prayer support is available, with church-authorised members sent to pray in homes.
Apostolic Ministers Forum
A group of local churches' pastors, leaders and ministries coming together to fellowship. Building relationship, providing covering, and establishing a network of like-minded churches.
Apostolic Leadership School
Born from the 2008 Prayer Summit, the school equips ministers and church leadership in this significant season. Committed to equipping the Five Fold ministries per Ephesians 4:11-12.
