"In the beginning of the new millennium, the Lord shared dreams and visions with Apostle Busisiwe Thebehali regarding His plans for her — to start an Apostolic Prophetic Ministry."
In October 2001, after much wrestling with the Lord, Apostle Busisiwe Thebehali started Agape Christian Church in Diepkloof, Soweto, Johannesburg. This church was not to become mediocre, but to become a channel where the Lord would establish His Kingdom here on earth.
Because the Lord's plan was not just to establish a church but a ministry, more ministries were founded, leading to the formation of Agape International Ministries South Africa (AIMSA). AIMSA serves as an umbrella organisation bringing together multiple ministry arms.

Biography of ApostleBusisiwe E. Thebehali
She's a trainer, a coach and an equipper. Her strong belief in Ephesians 4:12 amongst other scriptures helps her to train and send others for the work of the ministry. She has walked with many single men and women to the point of marriage, mentoring them with her life experiences.
One of her passions is to build strong families and marriages and has committed herself to providing fundamental premarital counselling sessions to couples wanting to get married. Her belief is that strong families build strong churches.
"I allowed my marriage to be laid on the altar, so I can build strong marriages."
An insightful teacher and author that tackles social and spiritual aspects in a candid manner whilst not shying away from bringing order in God's house. She is the author of "Ministry Ordination: Perfecting Leaders for the Work of the Ministry" — a book instrumental in training leaders into their pastoral positions. She's also written a training handbook titled "AGAPE" for equipping believers committed to being trained and growing to serve.
A loving mother to 4 children and an ordained minister of the Word. She's the founder and Senior Pastor at AGAPE Christian Church which she has been heading since 2001. The church was established after she received instructions from God through dreams and visions.
She heads an Apostolic Ministers' Forum in Diepkloof, Soweto and the 5-Fold Ministers' Seminar which attracts prominent leaders from across borders. She is the president of the Apostolic Prophetic Leadership School which has been running for more than a decade. The school has since been established in Accra – Ghana and Abidjan – Ivory Coast.

Pastor Lettie Mokhojoe
Co-ordinator & Intercessor
An ordained Pastor who was instrumental in the birthing of the church through prayer. She mothers up-and-coming prayer partners and hears the heart of God in worship.
Pastor Bertha Zwane
Church Co-ordinator & Dean
Known as 'Mum Bertha', she has shown leadership qualities since joining in 2002. She heads essential departments and serves as Dean of the Agape School of Ministry.
